This company has been quietly overcharging my elderly mother $4.85 per gallon of heating oil when the highest rate that I can find with other companies is under $3.50. They prey on the elderly! I used Cernak for a year, but declined to renew this winter. We had issues with our boiler at the start of the winter and had to call the Cernak service tech out twice. He was a nice guy but didn't seem to have any idea how to troubleshoot the boiler, despite it being relatively new. We ended up hiring a separate company to come take a look at it and they identified and resolved the issue quickly.
It has been a pleasure having Cernak Fuel for the past 14 years after purchasing the family homestead from my siblings and my parents used Cernak Fuel before that time. You have worked with me and my family for many years and are always available if a problem arises. As a widow living on a limited income your payment plan is easy for me to manage.
