The customer representative was extremely helpful. She helped me with two problems that I was having. One problem required her to stay on the line with me for over a ½ hour and she did until it was resolved.
The costumer service person I just spoke to, O’Neil Dixon, was extremely helpful and very friendly. He had the answers to all my questions. It would be a pleasure to talk with him again.
I called and asked to stop all deliveries of oil starting June. They did not comply and delivered over 700 dollars worth of oil in the thick of summer. I made the choice to discontinue oil delivery service and discontinue my service contracts. They're technicians are pretty good. However I'm sure I could find pretty good at a better rate even in Fairfield county.
I wrote the following review (below the dashed line) 7 years ago and have continued with Dominick to the present. I was worried when they sold their business to a larger company that the quality of customer service would decline. So far deliveries have been uneventful; we’ve had no maintenance or repair calls. Today I had a very positive phone call with one of their scheduling/billing representatives. We had a lot to cover and the call took quite a while. Just received a letter from collections but never received a bill from Dominick Fuel or HOP Energy. Called HOP first and they couldn’t tell me what the Bill was for. All collections could tell me was that it was a non-contract bill. My contract ended in February and they came and picked up their tank. I haven’t heard from them since. So not to affect my credit I just paid it, not knowing what the bill is even for. Needless to say I will will never be using them again and telling everyone I know to stay away.
