My family has been a customer for 16 years and we have always had great experiences. These past two days, though, people have really helped us out. Olivia was extremely helpful today in scheduling a tune up service for my furnace in a timely manner. I’m a long time customer of Dominick Oil and appreciate their attention to detail and outstanding service.
I paid $300+ for a maintenance agreement. As part of the agreement I scheduled a heating system maintenance. The technician came to my home and was very nice, but after he finished the basement started filling with smoke. I quickly turned of my heater and called him back and asked to look to see what went wrong, he came back and told me that the air transfer chamber was cracked and that i would need to keep the heater unit of and to keep my the electric heater on till someone could change it. I called and asked to stop all deliveries of oil starting June. They did not comply and delivered over 700 dollars worth of oil in the thick of summer. I think they're service rates and fees are very high. They said they would give a $50 discount on service call and I have yet to receive it. I made the choice to discontinue oil delivery service and discontinue my service contracts. They're technicians are pretty good. However I'm sure I could find pretty good at a better rate even in Fairfield county.
