An electronic payment made a month ago had not posted. I called Mercury Fuel (Hop Energy) and spoke to two very helpful, professional women. Within a few hours, everything was handled and corrected. I've been a long-time customer and will continue to be.
Update 01-24-2025: due to their increased costs over other oil delivery companies, we opted to change companies. Though we have been customers for nearly 20 years, they offered no flexibility or the ability to communicate why their prices were dollars above companies. Sadly, we needed to move on. I was a little confused about my budget contract and was upset over my bill because I thought it was more than it should have been. I then spoke with Brenda in the customer loyalty department. She immediately de-escalated a bad situation and handled herself in a calm and professional manner. I have been using Mercury for several years. Their service men are very knowledgeable and pleasant. The oil tech and phone staff is polite as I usually call a few days after delivery to see how much is left on my oil contract. For my needs the oil contract works out the best. Luna was exceptional today in assisting me with my bill payment. She worked w me to obtain a discount on future oil deliveries and hopefully was able to lift the auto-delivery hold on my account. She was informative, professional and above all...she was kind and understanding. Thank you, Luna. My parents were 70+ years w Mercury Energy...their customer service is a big reason why, I'm sure of that.
