I spoke with Claudia of Customer Service/HOP Energy. I had two areas of questions. First, I recently enrolled in paperless billing and wanted to know the process of paying my invoices. Second, I had received an email in my spam folder from DocuSign that I thought might be the executed contract of my new Price Cap Plan but nowhere was HOP or Valley Oil identified. I have been a customer for 20 years My lock in price plan expired. I was told I would have to pay $280 to secure a price.75 cents above other companies advertised price. I thought after 20 years of loyalty I should get a bit of a break. The customer service person was rude and told me I wasn't getting anything. I asked to get a delivery at the price lock price and would look at a price lock at another time. Customer service... today I waited for several minutes for someone to answer the phone... no big deal... last week I called for account information because I wanted to pay off my balance. The woman last week really had no clue what she was doing, and I don't remember her name, but wow, she doesn't belong in customer service... so I waited for a week, and today I called again hoping to speak to someone who could be helpful. Over the last several years Valley Oil has provided excellent service. In particular, their first-rate customer service is commendable. Very responsive and always friendly. My recent experience with Veronica provided another example of Valley Oil's commitment to excellence in customer care.
