I spoke with Claudia of Customer Service/HOP Energy. I had two areas of questions. First, I recently enrolled in paperless billing and wanted to know the process of paying my invoices. Second, I had received an email in my spam folder from DocuSign that I thought might be the executed contract of my new Price Cap Plan but nowhere was HOP or Valley Oil identified. I have been a customer for 20 years My lock in price plan expired. I was told I would have to pay $280 to secure a price.75 cents above other companies advertised price. I thought after 20 years of loyalty I should get a bit of a break. The customer service person was rude and told me I wasn't getting anything. I asked to get a delivery at the price lock price and would look at a price lock at another time. Maria was incredibly helpful. She spent over an hour walking me through a very confusing new contract line by line, answering all my questions with patience and clarity. She never rushed me and made sure I fully understood everything. Outstanding customer service and truly appreciated.
