Customer service... today I waited for several minutes for someone to answer the phone... no big deal... last week I called for account information because I wanted to pay off my balance. The woman last week really had no clue what she was doing, and I don't remember her name, but wow, she doesn't belong in customer service... so I waited for a week, and today I called again hoping to speak to someone who could be helpful. We signed on with Valley Oil 4 years ago when we moved to Portland and we have always been pleased with the service we have received. The customer service team is professional, pleasant and kind. The service technicians have always gone above and beyond to make sure our equipment is running efficiently. Last week, I put in a service call as I was getting loud noises emanating from my boiler. Was given an appointment within 2 days and Tony T. came out to diagnose the problem. He determined in less than a minute what my problem was and further identified a larger issue - my boiler was caked with debris due to too much oil feeding into the boiler. The technician they sent was right on time and went above and beyond to not only fix the immediate problem but replaced a part that was on the way out and did a cleaning as well.He was very accommodating and extremely polite and sure knew what he was doing.Thank you for the great service
