Hop Energy will fill your tank at market rate when you have exceeded your allotment without notice, which is strange to me, because had you agreed to a larger allotment, you likely would have had a lower rate. No notice of expiring contract or expiring allotment. Also, the second level service rep can save you 0.30/gallon = $300 per 1,000 gallons, you'd think if they want the business, they'd offer the rate up front. Very dissatisfied with this company.

Just when I thought I had heard it all from other businesses, who, by design, deceive and confuse, along comes this heating oil company to rank right up there with cable tv, credit cards, and healthcare. Bait and switch with an "up front" pricing program? Yep. I knew the price was limited to a certain number of gallons. Fine. But did they bother to TELL us WHEN that time came? Nope. Terrible service. Do not use!
Sorry to say the “renewed”a service contract and we were charged for it, we never asked for a renewal. Was told we would receive a refund but never saw it!!! Plus the oil company that is affiliated with them was charging a premium on the oil deliveries to pay for “service contract”. That’s a whole lot of double dipping for NOTHING! Would never recommend HOP or their partner Diamond Delchester. A bunch of thriving going on.
