Hop has wonderful customer service and 24 hour technicians and auto delivery. I feel like they have my back in any situation....Its great to know I have peace of mind when dealing with Automatic TlC...

This company has 24/7 service Love it!
I’ve been with them for 8 years. I am on the budget plan and my oil tank is now empty because they haven’t delivered since March and now our lines are clogged and they are trying to blame us. Sad this is how they treat long term customers. We have an infant at our home and it’s very cold right now. Update Needed a new oil tank. Came to bring me one and they ordered the wrong size. HOP Energy is expensive after the initial contract expires and overcharging compared to all local companies at about $1.50 or more on fuel your local companies (their subcontractors) will deliver anyway! They advertise "No Hidden Fees" and add to their prices some Hazmat and Insurance fees! They called it Market Prices and got me on it significantly without any advanced price information (about 100 gallons less on every prepaid delivery!). Yes, on their programs, they want prepayments. NEVER, EVER use this company. They are utter shysters that purposely fail people's oil tanks in order to milk them with their services. I, and some other neighbors, mysteriously had all of our tanks required for reinspection, with all failing their inspections. Coincidentally, they were happy to offer replacements through their company, with prices much higher than other local oil companies. Not to mention, you can't even reach the company by phone without super long wait times.

I called this morning to have my trane gas hot air heater repaired. When the technician came out he informed me they mostly work on oil heaters and had no gas heater parts on his truck if my heater needed a part. He was able to get my heater running though. I won't call them again to service my gas heater.

Price gouging unless of course you sign a contract with them. It all appears to be good until it’s renewal time. Read every single solitary word and make sure you are VERY clear of your contract as in the end you will be surprised!!!! Their employees are amazing however we have constant issues with our furnace and all the service techs that come out state it’s because of the oil that they use. They also have a horrible and confusing billing system. Would not recommend them at all.
