Price gouging unless of course you sign a contract with them. It all appears to be good until it’s renewal time. Read every single solitary word and make sure you are VERY clear of your contract as in the end you will be surprised!!!! Their employees are amazing however we have constant issues with our furnace and all the service techs that come out state it’s because of the oil that they use. They also have a horrible and confusing billing system. Would not recommend them at all.

They can’t get things straight, no one listens! Oh if you have a contract with them make sure you cancel when it expires or you will be hoodwinked into another year! Have not had a delivery since June! Called because my tank said 1/4 full, they say oh you have enough. You should have more than that she said! Really! I use it for hot water, been 6 months since delivery. The heat has been running! Hot water being used! Do not sign a contract with this company!

Horrible customer service!! Someone came to do a first inspection on my tank.. they said I needed somethings done before I could get oil. No big deal. Finished and called back the same day. No one showed up the next day when I was told they would... I call the next day to ask what happened l, and when will they come. Altemos Atlantic in Bethlehem Pennsylvania 888-917-9720 started out as a wonderful company they have payment plans with them on a payment plan for something years wonderful then during Christmas time they have some hot shot repair person come to my house while my wife was here saying you need a new boiler you need a new oil tank. Hop Energy will fill your tank at market rate when you have exceeded your allotment without notice, which is strange to me, because had you agreed to a larger allotment, you likely would have had a lower rate. No notice of expiring contract or expiring allotment. Also, the second level service rep can save you 0.30/gallon = $300 per 1,000 gallons, you'd think if they want the business, they'd offer the rate up front. Very dissatisfied with this company.

RecommendedRead your contracts folks, cancel in writing, and you will find this to be an excellent low priced company, especially for first time customers.
